The Pilot Training Process

1

Private Pilot License

A Private Pilot Certificate is the first major step in your aviation journey. It allows you to fly for personal travel, recreation, and adventure while building the skills and confidence needed to safely operate an aircraft.

2

Instrument Rating

An Instrument Rating allows pilots to fly safely in a wider range of weather conditions by relying on aircraft instruments rather than outside visual references. It builds precision, confidence, and decision-making skills while expanding your flying capabilities and making you a safer, more proficient pilot.

3

Commercial Certificate

The Commercial Pilot Certificate is the next step for pilots looking to turn their passion for flying into a career. Earning this certificate allows you to be compensated or hired for flying and opens the door to opportunities in aviation careers.

Student Pilot Essentials

While not all of these items are required on day one, they are commonly used by student pilots and can help make your flight training experience more efficient
